Is this gap typical on the SSS

I've just bought a 2019 SSS and have a huge gap between the exhaust and the end can.

Is this normal?

That appears to be the muffler cover which is only a cover.

Seems large. Dont think its that mutch on mine. Will try to remember to give the exhaust a scrutinizing look in the morning if no one else beats me to it.

The gap is def larger than normal but should affect performance. Maybe you could try swapping the mufflers, top to bottom and vice versa.
