Hello guys , the winter is almost over here in Montreal/Canada, this mean i will be able to work on my project and finish it for the beginning of the season soon. My idea was to remove all white part and change it to carbon . After getting started to buy some carbon part , i saw that no company offer the big white side panel or the gaz tank in carbon .So i decide to put them satin black with the logo ducati in metallic black on it (wrap job). I think this would make a good contrast . In total i will have 12 carbon piece , i am still waiting for the last two piece. Here is the beginning when i just receive the side panel and the gaz tank , and i already install the passager carbon cover . More photo will come soon.
(Btw my english its not the best , my first language is french)

Wow looking forward to seeing the final result! Do you think there is much weight saving overall? Also which exhaust do you have? The more photos the better 🙂

So, lemme get this straight.

I twist this little tube, it gets loud, I go forward really fast and it makes me smile...is that how it all works?

Today's bodywork is much thinner than in times past. I'm betting he will see no weight reduction.

@Maxime Wow, this is going to be very interesting! Thank you for starting this thread.

And btw, you might have already noticed this is very much an International Forum. For many Members, English is a second language. We very much appreciate speaking in English, for those of us who would be totally lost in French, as an example. Thank you.

Hmmm i don't think they will be a big difference but this Friday when I start to put the carbon part I will check the difference between them and the original part.
I still have the stock exhaust, the next step will be changing the exhaust but I am still not sure which one I will choose.

Having taken the left fairing off to get to the battery, it is amazingly flimsy yet so rigid when installed. I'm really impressed or perplexed how Ducati was able to pull that off.
