Kevin here from Colorado. Grew up riding dual sports on the farm and had a Honda CBR600F2 too many decades ago. Looking to get back into riding and very interested in the SuperSport for what would be my one and only bike. Ergonomics of Monster probably accommodates my aging back better (felt better in the showroom) however not really interested in cobbling together a windscreen and pannier solution, hence the appeal of the SuperSport. Consignment dealer in Denver had a ST4 for sale for a couple months that I almost bit at but the lure of newer safety features (ABS, traction control) are too hard to resist.

I do have one question regarding the full Akrapovic exhaust, namely is it compatible with the pannier racks and bags? I love the look and sound of that system but not at the cost of being able to use the standard bag solution.

Happy to have joined,

Welcome kg!

Lucky guy to ride in Colorado!

OEM panniers not compatible with Akra full exhaust.

You might consider Termi full, as an alternative, perhaps with Upmap, that is compatible.

Threads on these subjects can be found in the Exhaust section or by using the Search function.

Hereís one of the main threads on the Akra.
