Without watching the video I'm going with the Pro on the street bike winning by 20%.

It's Italian. If I can get it to start, it'll win.

Yes, huge.

Reinforces again, for average folks, itís not the bike, but the rider.

Old age and treachery beats youthful exuberance every time.

It's a big difference, but consider putting a good driver into an F1 car and sending them out for a lap. I guess that 19 out of 20 wouldn't get past the first couple of bends without stalling or spinning off. And that includes drivers used to driving the fastest of road cars.

It's great to know that as bikers we can buy and ride machinery that is relatively close to the pinnacle of their type...and on the road too! Not in the SS but things like the V4, RSV4, new S1000RR etc.

Both decent, humble blokes in the video. Whenever I see Michael Mann's sleeve tattoo I always think it looks out of place...he must have a dark side...he could pass for an accountant or bank manager until you see that

Shouldn't surprise anyone. Look at the IOMTT Superbike and Superstock times. So close that some of the riders choose to race Superstock in both events. Sometimes they even win.

A fast rider can ride any bike fast.. They are just talented that way. H£ll I've witnessed guys with 110 rear tyres rip up guys on modern superbikes. No Fear!!! I on the other hand don't want to see how I can bounce at my age.
I've been supporting my mates son at the races this year, he is only a boy and debuted this year in the 600cc class, a rookie and he is leading our local championship.. The kid is nuts and has zero fear but jeez can he ride that bike. Surprise surprise, he likes the supercorsa rubber most.
