Ducati has already hinted that they'll be putting a V4 in the Multi soon. After riding first the original Multi and later the Diavel with the 1260 DVT motor, I don't quite understand the need for more power, but car/bike enthusiasts have always wanted more power, needed or not. Ducati will make more money (and charge more price) for this model, so they can't wait for it to hit the market.

200+hp on a Multi does seem a bit extreme, but then again if you want it why not.

The V4 configuration is an ideal touring engine IMO, although 200+ HP at 14K rpm is not really required is it? I would hope they tune it for more mid-range and grunt down low... more like what a V-twin would have...Hmmm, so what's the point again...lol

It will be interesting to see comparison with the 1260...quite a motor itself.

As I recall, Ducati’s plan was to sell both versions, at least at first. Not sure if this is still the case.

Personally, not interested in an MS.
