She's the cute Italian girl from school you wish you kept in contact with...

I have been informed the streetfighter replaces the monster 1200 R to compete with the super Duke KTM. 1200R will no longer be manufactured.

now that i´m checking, the V4 is 25.500€ , and the V4S is 31.000€ here in spain…
Ahem, I think the V4 is better than the RR. BMW ain't such a great bike. I'm judging by comparison, not experience.

not talking specifically about the BMW, i meant all of the top RR (apart from MV ) are in the 20k-27k range, even what i consider to be the best naked one at the moment (tuono Factory), is only 18.000€ here…, the ktm is also 18.000, so 25.000 could be a bit too much for that kind of bike…

in my opinión, 20-22k could be the sweet spot

OK now I understand your point. In typical ducati fashion the streetfighter is sure to cost more than its competitors. It simply wouldn't be a ducati otherwise. I'll be test riding one once they're on the street, even if it's just for the heck off it.

“In the Panigale it’s good for 214 bhp, and since Ducati won’t want to be second-best to any rival it’s unlikely to detune it in the naked bike.”

You may be right, but what use is 200+ HP without any wind protection?
