Garage
Considered this when I bought the SSS. Would have been much cheaper. I note that some riding schools are now using. In the end decided to buy my first Ducati. Glad that I did.

After all the work I did to my F that was the one thing I really disliked about it: overall power.

With the ‘19 showing 80.x rwhp the “older” ones were supposed to be 4 HP or do down from there so figure 75hp and that’s about what my butt dyno felt, even with a pipe. 100hp to me is the sweet spot up until like 135-140hp, then it just eats up tires and you spend more effort keeping it controlled than it’s worth in my opinion.

The R version looks the part, though. Just doesn’t have the meat to back it up.

Not as long as my SS is running problem free. I'd strongly consider the R, based off looks. I'd have to sit on one first.

The R looks a million times better than the previous F.
