I had the 2018 Superduke R as a loan bike for the day when my SS was being serviced, that has 180hp and there is no way I could use all that power on the road. I think the gentlemans agreement between manufacturers limiting the speed/power must be over, unless you are playing top trumps or racing power figures of 180hp, 210hp, 220hp become meaningless.

Yes, it seems the gloves came off with regards to the gentleman’s agreement.

Do you mean the new version? The styling has always had a polarizing effect. I liked the old style, not so much the way this new one appears to be coming out.

I don’t consider this KTM much edgier than the 2018 — at least if you didn’t find the 2018s styling objectionable.

My garage:
  • 2008 Ford Expedition MAX
  • 2018 BMW S1000RR
  • 2017 KTM RC 390
Old Bikes:
  • 2011 Honda CBR250R - Sold and is teaching other new riders now.
  • 2017 Ducati SuperSport - Killed in Action May 2019.
The Next Bike: (In order of likelihood to replace S1000RR.)
1. Aprilia Tuono 1100 RR 2. KTM SuperDuke GT 3. Ducati SuperSport S 4. BMW S1000R

Haha...

And regarding the 2020 SD, not any edgier, but although the 2020 frame is lighter, its not as pretty as the predecessor frame, imo.
