Im leaning towards paint. The bronze is such a good paint job, that at first sight, youd think it anodizing. On the black, I also think it may be paint as I can think of no way to produce a stripe with anodizing or powder coating.
It will be a shame to paint over either one.

Yeah, bummer about the bronze but well forgive you. You have good taste so Im sure youll select a lovely finish.

Looking forward to the outcome!

So, lemme get this straight.

I twist this little tube, it gets loud, I go forward really fast and it makes me smile...is that how it all works?

OK, wheels painted, new tires installed (Rossi III) and mounted on bike. Believe Ive achieved the look I was after, similar to a Superleggera. Rear is now 190/55.

Cool

Very nice!

This is a rear 6' rim from an M1200 (same as 1199 Panni) with a 190/55.

Same design, but actually the rear was from a 2008 1098S. Was black with red stripe. Front from 2010 Streetfighter S. Yes, I planned to go with the 190/55 precisely because of the 0.5 inch gain in width. Fits perfectly.
