Had a good look through the manual, nothing about reading error codes. Seems to be running OK, I feel like the stupid charcoal canister might be clogged. I've had the bike a month and have put, as of today, 4000km on it. I ride it pretty much every day, and it's honestly had more than one fuel fillup where I wasn't paying attention and it was probably too high. I'm getting an urge to remove the charcoal canister altogether, just have to see a proper vacuum diagram to sort out how to do it the right way. Love having California and Euro emissions nonsense crammed down our throats here in Canada... not...
Any advice on that one? Also, how's your remapping project coming? I'm looking at having a cat elimination pipe tig'd up at my old aerospace shop, they have tons of scrap Inconel sheeting and one of the welders that deals with that stuff is an old friend, told me he'd do one if I got measurements. I'm looking to get it all apart this winter when riding season is over. My dealer is pretty good about most things and says they may be able to do the GP exhaust flash if I remove the cat. They say they won't void my warranty for exhaust mods, etc, either. They've been pretty good to me, they were my Triumph and Yamaha dealer as well, so it's a good relationship. If you've successfully mapped it I'd be interested in buying the map and whatever hardware/software was needed to do it.
