How to remove and refit fuel tank.

Is this the right place?
Perhaps we could have a "how to" place?

Information on removing and refitting the fuel tank from the Ducati Manual.

Sadly I'm unable to attach the pdf, too large. Shame.

But if any one wants a copy please pm me with your email address and I'll email a copy. It's a very simple process to remove your fuel tank.
Rhino and dsoeater like this.

PM sent. I was looking to lift the tank to check the wiring, the dealer said they done that check when I had my rear shock replaced. I would like to check for myself but couldn't work out how it came off.
THANKS......

I've sent it to several people, perhaps if one of them knows how to do it?

I got it thx steeve.
I'd upload it to share but after looking at the doc it's not right. It's missing the removal of the front screw that is under the ignition cover. And the fuel lines . I was going to put together a how to for this but never 100% removed my tank because I did not see a good way to pull the fuel lines.

That's the first I've heard of it. There was nothing available when I bought the bike and no indication that there might be. The manuals available to the dealer were only available by a login through their own portal. I have no doubt that it's expensive but I will look into it.

For removing the tank see my post in the Termignoni thread

Fuel lines need a little press on the clip. That front bolt is so you can tilt the tank so thst it doesn't need removing. Obviously if it's a longer job than you'll want to remove the bolt by the ignition.
