Sweet Smell

I suppose it's the catalytic converter but the exhaust on my bike has a sweet smell. The exhaust smells like it's burning race gas right out of a GP Paddock (maybe I'm exaggerating).

That's a neat touch. The bike sounds good, runs good and thus far, I can live with the heat.

Heat stroke or have you been overcome by the fumes?

Considering some of the PMs I've gotten here, I suppose I was nuts to begin with.

OK, maybe it's the gas here (not flatulence).

Smells like victory when I start my bike.

Check your coolant level. Antifreeze leaking into the engine
through a leaking head gasket causes a sweet smelling exhaust. It doesn't need much.

really? The bike has been serviced at the annual. The oil site looks clear.

But you're saying this isn't normal? It doesn't smell like antifreeze.
