Went for a blast today and noticed 1000 miles had ticked over so wanted to put my thoughts down.

Unfortunately a few of those miles have been motorway and city but I still have a feel for her, yes she is definitely a lady:grin2:

Documented loads but the mirrors are not wort sh!t.
Plastics seem cheap and flimsy, and seem to collect stone chips with ease and the standard cats are ugly.

None of this matters though because I think it's fu!king fantastic. I mean look at it, I do all the time, every time I go in the garage for a beer I stop and stare and smile because she is mine. Even the standard exhaust sounds great and then you ride it.

Always feels eager the motor has enough go, sometimes deceptively so :grin2:
And it just loves the corners.

I had the pleasure of hiring a red one for the on tract at Silverstone and it seemed to keep up with the 959 everywhere except for the straight.
Now need to get out tomorrow and get rid of the chicken strips:grin2::grin2:

Passionate write up you have posted. Whether on purpose or not but having the beers next to the bike is a great excuse. Double whammy....
Thanks for the write up. Gives me an idea that I should do something similar, maybe. Most of us on here love our bikes, so we're just talking to each other about it...but there might be that person out there who is researching if we still love them after the has worn off.
