Excellent vid. Man, I wish I knew of a place here in the states to get this done. I would be all over it!

Love the levers. May have to score a set for myself, now.
How odd, I was assured by a couple of companies that 3M no longer make a matte venture shield because of problems with their material.

Have they a new product out?
Now that is a darn good job and it looks amazing. Can hardly tell anything is even there. Trying to research the kits but I'm not coming up with anything. May just suck at searching but do you have a link or anything?
No idea Steve?
They may have used a different make?
I asked for venture shield, they never came back and said they would have to go else where.
If I had known of the self healing type
I would have gone down that road
When the 1200 SSS is released >:)I'll go for that and fully wrapped
That does sound the way to go:smile2:

There you go
Paint Protection Film | 3M Ventureshield
But I'd look at the other thread
It does seem there maybe better options out there.:smile2:
I've not yet found anyone who'll install those products here unless it's a precut kit. Usually, at least here, if there's a design available it's available for any film. I'd think 3M doesn't have the corner on the market with that design.
Same for me, everyone is scared to do bikes here. I think its because the money really is with cars where guys will pay more for a job, whereas with bikes its the same amount of work, less material sold, lots more room for mistakes
Helps if you guys put some idea of where you are on your profile, we have a better idea of where 'here' is.
Thanks :smile2:
I just applied some of this 3M film to my tank where my jacket rubs - amazing outcome. I bought a small roll (70mm wide) and cut to shape. You liberally coat the film in soapy water and slap it on the area - and you think, there is no way this is going to work 'cause of the wrinkles and bubbles and such. But working the soapy water out from the centre, and pushing/stretching the film over the surface makes for a perfect fit.

No point in a photo - you can't see it!

Have done the same on my tank. Many guys on Rennlist swear by having PPF covering the front of vehicle, especially. I’ve heard horror stories on removal, but have no experience in that area. Would be horrible to mess up paint while trying to protect!
I had a clear vinyl applied to the rear seat cover and to the gas tank.
Have got this on my white Superpsort S same as the OP, but mine also has the headlight protected too.
Full kit here:

£90 for the full kit or £39.99 for the tank only. They do it in matt and gloss - matt is best on the Star White bike and no doubt the Titanium Grey.

I think about it from time to time, too. Very well looking. Meanwhile a stone hit my tank near the key..... leaving a black spot..... bad luck is bad luck.
