Hi all -- considering this screen for my new 950S but at least in photos, it doesn't seem much larger (if any) than the standard equipment clear screen. For those who have one, does it noticeably increase wind protection? Kind of pricey at $200+ so I'm going to pass unless it actually offers some additional wind protection.
Thanks --

The Ducati Touring screen is only slightly larger than the OEM one and offers only marginally more wind protection than the stock unit. I ran one for most of my bikes life as I was OK with the stock one when I had the stock seat on but once I put the comfort seat on I was raised ever so slightly up and this screen sort of alleviated that change. I also liked the very slightly smoked look of the touring screen, not black, and not super dark but just enough to look great.
I’ve since moved to an MRA screen after mine got sone chips and scratches in it and am happy with it for the most part. So it’s again just a bit bigger than the factory touring screen but it makes enough difference that raising and lowering the screen actually does something to change the wind that hits you (I never felt any real difference raising and lowering the screen with either OEM screen). Where I am disappointed in the screen is it was supposed to have a flipped up edge and mine arrived without a noticeable one, maybe a few millimeters. I contacted MRA who admitted it wasn’t correct but chose to do nothing but offer me a “discounted” replacement priced higher than the price I originally paid because I opened the package, something they instructed me to do.
I outlined the situation in another thread, that level of service soured me on their company since. Too bad because I normally love their product; when I wanted something different on my Tracer I went elsewhere.
So my take on the factory Ducati touring screen is like and Ducati performance part it’s nice, fits great and kinda works as advertised but expensive for what it is.
