Stock pipes do sound pretty good, but I'm used to the performance slip-ons on my Monster, which are quite a bit louder.
When you look inside the back of the can, they put three oval indentations, as if to say "we know you're going to drill them out anyway, so here's a place to set your drill bit where it won't walk on you as you start the hole."
Still nervous about taking a power tool near my beautiful machine though. Anyone feeling more adventurous than I want to be the guinea pig for the rest of us?
