Battery Charge

Anyone checked their battery voltage via the settings menu? My bike seemed a bit slow winding over the other day (I may have imagined it) so I checked the voltage and it read 12.4 which is quite low. According to the manual anything below 11 is low and above 16 is high.

The battery voltage is spot on at 12.2 to 12.6. You will never see 16 volts on a battery alone, the bike would need to be running and the generator could get that high if the regulator was not working correctly. Maximum should be 14.2 when the engine is running.
Well that clears that up then. Cheers!

Unsure which oil you have in the bike. The factory break in oil is highly viscous and when cold the oil is dense, that puts load on the starter motor. Check the oil spec you have in the bike. Also, the cold weather doesn't help. I have mine permanently on the optimate 4 battery maintainer and with this winter it turns over a tad more difficult.
I haven't had the first service yet, so I don't think there's any oil issues. It's only done it once, and to be honest, I may have imagined it. I was rolling it down the drive as I fired it up, so I wouldn't wake the kids. I don't think I hit the starter properly. It hasn't done it since, so all good !

If it's above 12 it shouldn't be a problem
