Brake reservoir

I ordered the ducati performance brake reservoir and it arrived yesterday all to find out it was incorrect fit. Ducati showed this reservoir as being a correct fit on their site but it certainly is not correct in size and fit so I have to return it. Just a heads up to others trying to place orders off the pure ducati website. You can look up the part under the accessories and size the picture doesn't match but the fit list shows it will. So far I have had three returns with various items that won't fit or were shipped incorrectly. I hope they can get it together over there.

I'm curious to hear if anyone else has had any issues with parts recently or had any experience with using Rizmo parts. Pro's / Con's?

Rizoma is manufactured in China by cnc parts. Check aliexpress.com and you'll see some of the cnc parts there. I feel a complete aluminium set can be dangerous. If the reservoir gets hot it retains the heat more than the plastic ones and that heat affects the hydraulic oil capacity and the braking power. They look nice but functionally I am dubious of installing them.
On the note of pure-ducati, I have noticed they advertised parts for the SS but they are not compatible, for example the hydraulic clutch or the transparent clutch cover. These are copied from the hypers and they haven't even assessed compatibility. I won't be buying from them.

I've always had really good luck purchasing from Pure Ducati. Adrienne is really helpful. I'm not sure if she's still there, but if she is, ask for her and you will get great service.
Original Rizoma parts are produced here in Italy. But from China you can find the same design product but it's not an original Rizoma!
I considered the alloy reservoir but the mounting bracket is a bit flimsy so stuck with the Ducati caps, they look great.
