The UpMap map will only work with a specific model as part of the online registration process and use of the dongle.

The DDS key is simpler and just plugs in.

It’s a 939 Map Key for (what assume) is a 939 bike. So pretty standard I would have thought.

Seems weird given this a standard Ducati (DDS) map upgrade for a 939. The filter and the map device come standard with the 939 akrapovic exhaust.

Seems to be plenty of mentions of the key on the forum.

sure, will do. i am also currently making an inquiry on our local ducati here making sure that it will work and will be able to use it on my 939.

Just an update, I just got off the phone with our local Ducati dealer here in the Philippines. They've told me that they are not allowed to install or load the map to my 939 unless the item was bought from them. I also don't have the required tools or knowledge to install or load it by myself.

OK. No problem. Your choice to go with your dealer if that makes you more comfortable.

It just plugs into the cable under your seat and uploads without extra tools. Plenty of videos online. Takes 5 minutes.

I would have used it but it doesn’t fit my bike.

okay, so no other tools needed then, would the dds key map check the vin number of the bike?

and also, once i successfully loaded it to my bike, will it still work on other 939?

I don’t know. It’s unused so will work for your 939. I think once they are used on one bike - they are somehow linked to that bike. But I’m guessing.
