Dealer has just confirmed delivery late March early April.
Still a bit vague but factory confirmation has given me something to look forward to and I suppose the window will reduce as time goes on.......
As I'm at the factory next week I'll try and get a bit more info.

Thanks for the update Steeve.
Thanks. You must be seriously excited to know the time is approaching soon! Can't wait to see some photos and what not from the tour.
Australia was meant to be March but is now early April.
I'm told it'll be late April or early May for my Super Sport S.
Pretty sure that delivery dates are still estimates with a month or so leeway. As of last Saturday, the Ducati dealer information site showed "Open" for the production schedule.

U.S. dealers are notified once a bike is on the boat. After that, no further status is available until the bike is at the dealer. Once the bikes are off the boat, an independent freight line delivers them and they do not communicate with the dealer.

Of the bike being shipped?
If the past is a predictor, European deliveries will be about 2 weeks before North American shipments.

The delivery period was given by the factory in the last week.

They seem to be building plenty. The majority of bikes on the assembly line are white S's

All those people buying white motorcycles are silly. Everyone knows the red ones are faster. :)

I could not imagine owning a Duc that isn't red. I guess my red S will be a rarity.

I happened to see my sales guy a the dealer yesterday while I was buying other maintenance items for my MX bike. He said that he should be hearing in a week or 2 that the bikes are on the boat. He figures mid late April for delivery. I wonder if being on the east coast and closer to the port helps at all?

i also ordered a red one Patrick, but luckily i live in Belgium, so the chance to cross each other on the street is rather small ;-)

Has to. :smile2:
Being close to the port would help when it comes to delivering it to your dealer. Less trucking needed.
If delivery is anything like cars and you live far way from the landing port, the motorcycle could travel to some weird location and take long and convoluted routes before reaching you.
I am assuming that the bikes come through the Port of Newark NJ, thats where many cars ship through as well. I am only about 20 miles from there and the dealer is only about 10.

That is what I was told a couple years ago.

That's good news, are they customer or demo bikes?

This certainly seems to be inline with what we are hearing from the dealers in the US. I am in NJ, not too far from the port of entry and the dealer is telling me mid april.:grin2:
