Picked up my shiny new S today at Erico in Denver; had the deposit on her since November. Sales person said that Ducati only sent them one model S (so glad I was first in line). OMG so much fun to ride, so worth the wait. I only wish I didn't have to go on a business trip tomorrow so that I could skip work and ride around all day :laugh:. Any other lucky people in Colorado / Denver pick one of these up yet?

It will get better after you tweek it to suit your riding, but first it's the horrid settling of the gearbox and rings among other parts. Congrats. ENJOY

Denver ain't so far from NM, and I hear mine is on the way to Albuquerque! Hoping to get it this weekend and do the first maintenance and Termi exhaust on my XDS....

Is that a reference to the break-in period being a rough one? I've been feeling like this things just sounds a little rougher than my 2014 Monster - but I'm assuming things will smooth out over time. I'm still only at 300 miles!

Perhaps my words could have been different, I was referring to being patient. Wasn't thinking negative of the bikes running in. Apologies if I have been misunderstood.
