Captain’s log Star date 20220714 - Life at times can be tough in Intergalactic Space, and so the thought occurred to me to get flowers for my significant other. Only thing is the Enterprise is not properly configured to carry flowers. And the result was an argument between Spock and Bones…

Spock indicated according to his calculations it was high risk to carry flowers on the Enterprise - a 40% chance of failure getting the flowers home without them self-destructing or losing them in space, so he cautioned against proceeding.

Bones on the other hand, got visible angry at Spock, and said dammit Spock, why do you always have to be so logical; where’s the human element? 40% chance of failure means there’s a 60% chance of success! And if this is even remotely possible, it’s certainly worth a try!

So I called Scotty to engineer a solution! And he came up with this complicated approach where half the flowers were in the special cargo compartment (aka Kriega back pack) and a half were sticking out into space. And I said to Scotty I see how Spock came up with those calculations, this is risky! And Scotty said yeah, but I think it’ll work so long as you keep the Enterprise below Warp Speed. So I decided to side with Bones again, this time.

And so I did keep it below Warp Speed…

And we made it!

And she was very happy!

This is the other side of the door of that bakery I posted earlier above. (Apologies for those who don’t have an IG.)

One of the owners, Lauren (of the Lauren and Ben couple-owners) working hard with an assistant at her craft, creating perfection every day for us! So fortunate we are!

At the rate you have been exploring the Galaxy, she will be back in the Star Fleet dock soon for her warp core overhaul 😆

Captain’s log Stardate: 20220820

Ahhh, fresh tarmac on my fav back road… 😊

Ran tank down to 17 miles on Reserve (after yellow dash indicator is lit) for a total of 113 miles. Tank took 3.374 gallons, 33.5 miles per gallon. Tank capacity is 4.5 gallons.

Woke the SFV2 from its 3 month nap while I was away, after an oil change (come to learn a bit of a challenge for the SFV2). And it immediately fired up.

Before putting her to sleep, I ran the ethanol fuel down to reserve, and topped the tank with non-ethanol fuel (no stabilizer), trickle charger on the battery, and all is well now.

@Triplesapper Yes, just returned from the that far off Galaxy called “California”.

The teleporter was used to get to/from California instead of the Enterpise, but I’m back on the flight deck, and the Captain’s Log will soon restart!

Scotty’s doing a bit more work in the engine compartment today before piloting her again to warp drive velocities, but she passed all preliminary tests during the activation stage yesterday.

The main mission of the Enterprise will continue to be seeking-out strange and new coffee shops. And maneuvering to minimize contact with Clingons when traveling at higher velocities so as to hopefully avoid an inter-galactic incident.

Captain’s log Stardate 12:29:22.

Scotty reignited Enterprise’s Fusion Reactors, gave the Green light to proceed.

Meanwhile, perfect atmospheric conditions at 67 F, clear sky to enable launch and reach escape velocity for the trip to a new-to-me coffee shop on a neighboring planet. No time for intergalactic travel today. And more of a shake down mission today, anyway.

Coffee and view pleasing. Shall be back!

Captain’s log Stardate 20230223. Blue skies everywhere, ambient temp reaching 82F. Perfect to reignite fusion reactors.

Usually, there are no Romulans in the back intergalactic spaces, especially week-days. But today I spotted 3, and one, kinda camouflaged, was tailing me!

Fortunately, Enterprise’s rear mirror visibility was clear, and I was able to see the suspicious vehicle behind me, and activated the cloaking device. When safely out of range the ton came and went, many times over.

Captain signing-off, for now.
