Evolution kits (EVO)

Had a chat with manager of the ducati service center today about my disappointment that the monster 1200 gets the leaning ABS system and nothing on the SS. He told me it needs a different black box and IMO, ABS and ECU. Ducati intend releasing EVO kits but the change is too great for the supersport and he doubts that when it's released in a few months that it will not be compatible with the SS. He said it can be done but not under the OEM banner. It will be available for the hyperbikes though.

That's a shame, BMW issued a kit for the early R1200RS's to upgrade them.
