Not too bad, but I had done it before on my 848...The trickiest part was the removal of the 2 bolts for the ignition mount and installing the two new ones that comes in a kit...trying to get that in there without scratching anything...Hand tight it and then as you tighten the top nut it will tighten it self to the bike...sorry hard to explain...How hard was the damper installation? I was thinking about one after getting a slight shake at speed.

The only place I really found a need for a SD is on my dual sport and on the track, bumpy tracks mostly...
It's on the SS S because I want it, like it and can have it...that's it really...
As for the feel of it, I only have 130 miles on the SS S...
