Finally arrived

Finally picked her up today :grin2: Red Supersport S - that paintwork is beautiful. I was starting to lean towards the white, but after another look at the red in sunshine...

The mirrors don't seem as bad as on the standard Supersport demo I tried. The quickshifter is also better. Keeping it under 6 grand will be difficult.

I think I'll call her Jolene.

Welcome and congrats on a great choice. Looking forward to some pics of Jolene in the future.
Jolene? - I think there's a song in there somewhere! Congratulations and enjoy your new girlfriend, (I am certain you will)

Great news but it didn't happen if there's no pictures.....

I think you're right about the colour, the white is difficult to keep clean.

Congrats, I bet you'll rack up the miles quick enough to finish the break in to hit over 6k rpms
I have yet to see a white one in person. The red does pop in the sun. Great choice and welcome to the gang.
Congrats and welcome to the forum! Pics please.....

She is beautiful.....yes, we have all hit a few false neutrals in the upper gears. Shift with a purpose with the throttle open and you shouldnt have any problems.
Thanks for the tip.

It's crazy, I've had car drivers rubbernecking like crazy and i've only ridden in three times. At least five or six drivers have driven past with their heads at 90 degrees trying to get a look at the bike. Wish they'd watch where they were going...

beautiful bike, welcome to team red. the false neutrals seem to come from not giving enough force when up/downshifting, I've found that usually helps.
Thanks for the tip people, haven't had a false neutral since. And after a few hundred km's, I can sometimes get neutral without turning the bike off :-D
