For reference to future readers of this thread - this forum, and all of the other motorcycle forums belonging to the same provider, do not work if you have an ad-blocker installed. It will prevent attachments from showing up, keep some of the editing tools hidden when you are replying to a post, prevent the menus from popping up correctly on mouse-over, and not display a number of links correctly. It only affects the "modern" skins, the "classic" skins retain all of their functionality with the ad-blocker still turned on.

Ideally the software vendor would fix this in their CSS or back end platform. In the meantime, disabling the ad-blocker for this site only seems to work.

Yep, I just had to adjust mine to leave out the elements that it was blocking. I imagine they arent too motivated to change the site for this because the idea is that if you block their ads, they block functionality.
Hey guys,

Just to clarify, you don't need to fully disable your adblocker plugins - just tweak the settings in allowing our domain to be whitelisted and/or removed from the blocked list. I'll provide screenshots on how to do this for 3 common adblockers:

For Ghostery, un-select verticalscope in tracking
Text Line Font Screenshot Web page

For Adblock Plus, add the verticalscope to it's white list
Text Line Font Screenshot Parallel

For ublock, add static.verticalscope.com and comet-admin.verticalscope.com to it's white list

In doing this, it allows you to keep your adblock enabled for all the other sites you visit but still having functional tools and layout on this site. Let us know if you need further assistance on this.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Cheers,
Natalie
