Hi Forum Members,

Joining the forum from Northern CA with my 2018 Satin White Supersport S, I am a new rider and sold my KTM RC390 to move to the beautiful Ducati Supersport S. I could not resist the entire package that the bike brings, and have been with the bike for about a month now. A few goofy items that bug me about not being able to find Neutral and the vibrating wing mirrors but other then that the bike is awesome.

Thanks

Congrats on your purchase, EB! After a couple thousand miles the neutral issue will disappear after the motor reaches operating temperature. The mirror issue, on the other hand, is another story. I use them as a reference that something is behind me. WHAT is behind me, I have no clue because of the vibration. I've kinda gotten used to the lack of detail. I'm never in 'outrun LE' mode, so all I really need is a basic idea there is something back there. Hopefully someone like Rizoma offers up an improvement soon.

Where are you based within Norcal? I was on the wait-list for the longest time on the '17 KTM 390's, settled on a '16 CB500F, to only upgrade to an '18 SSS after a couple of months.

Let's ride if you're around Sunnyvale

Welcome aboard from SoCal. Enjoy your new ride

Hey CK,

I am located in Danville CA, which is basically at the intersection of 580 and 680. I like my 16' RC390 but just felt the riding position was to aggressive for everyday riding. The 17' has the ride by wire throttle and a different exhaust setup but sadly they did not pull in the screen from the Duke 390.
