Based on what we've seen and read so far on the SS, it appears to be a good replacement for the old SS and probably the ST as well. The older SS models didn't offer an adjustable windscreen or any luggage offerings.Potential new owner here. I've owned a Monster and currently ride a '99 ST2.

Yes, at the Cleveland IMS show at the end of January. I sat on it and looked it over. It was exactly as I had thought it would be based on my past experience with an SS, the specs and photos. Before the new SS was introduced I had thought about the BMW R1200RS (I demo'd one) and the Honda VFR. I couldn't quite get excited about either one, however, as I'm partial to Italian bikes. This will be my next bike.Have you been able to see one at any time at shows or anything yet?
