Still surviving!

Purchased a new SuperSport S (Silk White) a couple of weeks back while working in San Antonio... Little did I know I'd get an quick initial ride and park it in a garage with 34 miles on it, then... Enter hurricane Harvey! :surprise:

I work in healthcare and I have been working with evacuations and disaster issues all around the coastal area since then. That's kind of a double whammy for me.

Now that it's Labor Day weekend I'm hoping to enjoy some family time, then spend some time riding San Antonio / Austin area on Monday. Fingers crossed! :smile2:

Welcome gryn and congrats on your new SS/S, I took delivery of mine today but in red 😉

I'm coming over to Houston in 2 weeks and plan a visit to Austin and other places , maybe San Antonio?
Heading beck to Galveston for a Caribbean cruise thereafter.
Stay safe and well done in assisting after hurricane Harvey, terrible scenes over there my heart goes out to those millions affected.

Gryn!
Welcome from a fellow Texas rider. I'm in the Houston area and was able to spread my wings for a ride yesterday!

Welcome and congrats on two fronts. One for the bike and one for the survival. Thanks for your help in the disaster. Those folks down there need all they can get. Such a bad situation.

Irma, which is comparatively bigger than Harvey is heading to the gulf now. Phew, even more trouble coming for those already affected.
