Greetings from Texas! Started riding about a couple of years ago on a Ninja 300, then switched over to an FZ07, but now this Ducati Supersport S has caught my eye! Just joined in to see what everyone has to say on this bike. Talk to ya soon :)

Welcome to the Supersport forum! A lot of good info here...soak it up, then let everyone know which model/options you've decided on.

Welcome to the group! I'm pretty much same as you. Started riding 4 years ago - and started on a Ninja 300. Actually really liked it - but just outgrew it quite fast. Always loved the Ducati brand in general, but just thought it was not a good place to start for a beginner. So when I was ready to graduate from the Ninja, went to the Ducati Monster (a 2014 696), and have been hooked since. Always was attracted to the allure of the sportbike, but the Panigale was a bit intimidating, and as I am older (52), worried that that more aggressive riding position would be a bit tiring on longer rides. When I learned about the SuperSport, I thought - I'm not getting any younger - and if I wanted to migrate to a sportbike type, then this was the time to do it.

I placed my deposit months ago on a leap of faith - but now that most dealers have demos available you should check it out and get your checkbook ready
Test one and make your mind up. Not every one's cup of tea (sorry a UK saying) but I'm certain you will be smitten.

Welcome to the forum.
