I did nothing to mine today

I did nothing to my supersport today apart from ordering it. I have ordered a non-S version because I don't feel I need the S. As soon as I have sold the aircraft I will order one for the wife but that will probably be an S as she "needs" a white one!

Hi Fred, what is your nickname on www.ducati-mania.com ?
I tried to guess it but the closer i found said he ordered a S version ^^
I am not on ducati-mania, so it would be difficult to guess! I live in the Perigord and have ordered from the Limoges dealer.

Now that's funny, she "needs" the white. (we) the White S model riders like her already!

That's a tough one. Giving up the aircraft for the mrs. I fly, ride and scuba. I love doing them equally. Some refer to women wine and song, I say wings wheels and women.

I am not giving up the aircraft because of the wife, she enjoys the flying too, it is just that with all the bikes we don't have time to fly much.
I cannot just use savings to buy her a bike because the morons in my home country voted for brexit which leaves thousands of people like me, living in Europe, with an uncertain financial future.
We used to Scuba dive and ski quite a lot too, I was even into parachuting, but despite retiring at 45, I don't seem to have the time.

Slightly off topic but BREXIT impacted me too. I was living in portugal under my british passport (RSA/UK dual national). Personally I am still highly annoyed by it but its the word of the majority so the rest have to live with it. Perhaps they shouldn't allow non tax payers (dolers) to vote then the north east result will have been different and result in a 'stay' outcome. In SA our flight laws are very similar to the UK and much of EU, only the radiography is slightly different. Here the sports licence doesn't exist, the base is MPL, then PPL, CPL, ATPL. Oh, and we get more flight time on VFR :grin2:. The altitude is rather high here so it makes for good practice.

Sorry, but that is the opinion of someone who has no choice but to pay UK tax yet has no entitlement to vote or even use any services of the UK including the NHS. Why did I dedicate my life to the country?

No, you didn't dedicate your life to the UK. You were just complaining that the UK hasn't been subsumed into a superstate for your personal benefit.

I think the comment was a little disrespectful, we have a democracy and those of us who choose to live in the UK get to vote.

However, this is a Ducati forum, dedicated to the new Supersport and perhaps not the place for political comment?

Lol ,maybe we do need a moderator :)
Exactly my thoughts at the first mention of BREXIT.
Haha...you guys need to lighten up. Yes you are heading into the doldrums with brexit and it will take 15 years to recover but anyway lighten up. It will be a lot darker where the uk is heading towards so get as many hours on the SS while you can.
If you feel like a moron then so be it. I have been named much worse, perhaps moron might even be a compliment. @Fredinfrance Don't worry about the cotton wool brigade, I understand your point clearly.

Any one using that word on a motorbike forum should be immediately expelled.....
