Post inspection ride, noticed a few drops of oil coming from the oil cap, even though it was tight. I guess the O-ring compressed after 4 years.

You folks might be aware of this already, but a mechanic many years ago told me a quick way that might temporarily stop the leak in cases like this. Try flipping the gasket.

That’s not intended as permanent fix, it’s always better to replace a compressed gasket, but flipping it may stop the leak for a bit until replacement.

Take it off, give it (and the grooves) a clean, and put it back on the opposite way to what it was fitted.

Monitor it, however, oil being forced out could be a sign of a pressurised crankcase. You don't want that...
