Hi everyone,

has anybody already found a nice short license plate holder ? The original one is way too long...
What about small direction indicator ? Any ideas about that ?

ordered both.
licence plate holder is the same as the one for Monster 1200 it seems.
I have the Ducati tail tidy on order. The X shaped registration plate holder needs altering to fit a smaller reg plate. It's easy to do, I now have an 8X6 plate on mine. Small enough to look good big enough to not draw the attention of the old bill.

A also have the smaller Ducati LED indicators ready and waiting to fit them when the tail tidy turns up.
Im considering a SS very seriously, but it would definitely require a fender eliminator. That thing sticks out like a sore thumb. Interested to see if the monster 1200 eliminators will work with the SS without major modifications.
It might take a while, but once I get the bike, a tail tidy will be a priority. I intend to design and fabricate my own. It will not accommodate turn signals because I use integrated tail lights. Will share the design once done.

I think a bike looks so much better with a tail tidy. I also think you should not mind having swamp ass when caught in the rain.

Steeve,
If you don't mind me asking how much was your tail tidy ? And do you have any pictures of it.

I have ordered an S in white and just waiting for it to turn up.

Cheers
It's shown in the accessories page on Ducati UK website. £265.84

Sadly there's no picture of it, but the dealer can access pictures. I think it's used on other models. I expect mine at the end of the week.

I get 15% off from my dealer Ducati Nottingham.

Now that's what i'm looking forward to.

Do you already have in mind how you're going to execute this since I noticed some people heavily rely on piecing together parts meanwhile others have access to machine shops and create something one off.

I always try to make it as difficult as I can for myself. :wink2: Been known to spend all day making something I could have bought for ten dollars. My intention is to disassemble the tag holder and then try to form everything from sheet Al. If that is not to my liking, I'll machine one out of billet. I have a small lathe and small mill and have made mucho stuff over the years.

@DucMan I'm glad people like you exist. :) I'm the opposite. I'll wait 'till the perfect tail tidy comes on the market. I have no mechanical patience.

I'd be interested in seeing it when you're done. I have the Ducati LED indicators too.
Came across this on NRCs Instagram, things are coming!

That's awesome. What model is the eliminator?

Is the LED kit light smoke or just plain clear?
The license plate holder is an universal we bought at motorhelmets for 10 bucks and we use the oem screws and the led integrated lights is from the monster 821 is the same tail light set up was plug and play very easy to do
