No fair!! :wink2:
Hey, come on lets have a few thoughts on your new bike.......
We would like to know your definition of fantastic, please. ;)
congratulations!

I guess it pays to live in Belgium....
Still waiting for mine in the desert of New Mexico.

Give us some feedback!
Grrrrrrr, HATE YOU! Kidding, jus friggin jealous! More info on how it is!!!
Johan,

Nice pair of Ducs! Congratulations! Now, how about a few more words to those of us who are still waiting for the call from the dealer? I will take "fantastic" as a good first impression, but what did you notice on your ride? Please give us the good, the bad and the ugly. :)
first thought during the first ride :x i am in love
this is a very light steering bike, it goes where you look at
i think i could be hours in the seat off this bike, sits very comfortable
i was afraid the ohlins would be to hard for the "bad"streets in Belgium, but its sporty without beiing to hard.
quick shifter is also very nice, very smooth when you make more revs, (+4500) first to second i do manually
shifting down is also nice and makes a sporty sound.
i will put the akrapovic exhaust on later

Hahaha..Hopefully you are being sarcastic!! I've driven quite a bit in belgium. You guys don't know the definition of bad roads. :smile2:

UK terrible roads, huge potholes, dangerous for bikes....
Congrats and thanks for the comments! Mind if I ask how tall you are? How well balanced do you find the bike? I'm barely 5'6" - and my Monster 696 was the perfect size for me, and I know this seat height is ever so slightly higher - just wondering how its going to feel once I get on it - which I cannot wait for!!
Congratulations on getting it! Going through the break in period must be tough huh?

When you turn the headlights on low beam, do both lights come on or only one?

Great question, Mike. According to page 314 of the owners manual, one bulb is an H1 low beam on the throttle side of the bike and the other an H7 high beam on the clutch side. So unlike the Panigale, I think on low beam only one headlight is illuminated. How very Honda-like of Ducati.

Thanks. Disappointed to learn that.

Take a look at the bulbs in the parts fische.

Yes, interestingly, same P/N for both bulbs. So who knows? Maybe if Johan851 would weigh in we'd find out once and for all!

I can confirm that, i saw it on my dealer demo bike.
I think the owners manual is incorrect, I always thought it was a strange combination. Truth is I think they are both H7 so as far as I'm aware its one bulb for dip and both bulbs on for high beam.

Perhaps an owner (one of those few lucky people to have their bikes, **** it) can confirm.
