Looking to buy a SSS in the next couple of weeks

Hey everyone

My name is Tim, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Sydney, Australia.

I am currently riding a CBR500r as I am still on my restricted licence. I get my full licence end of September

I've been set on the SSS for a while now because I want a bike that can do it all as I commute on the bike and do touring. It also looks amazing!

Has anyone got a good deal in sydney they'd like to share? ;) haha

Also, what factory accessories did you get you found the most essential?

Good to meet you all!

Cheers Tim

Welcome, Tim. Glad to have you. I don't know of any good deals in Australia and essential accessories are a personal thing, but I would recommend looking at the TWM lever group buy. Very good quality. A tail tidy is a definite need, but which one you choose is, again, a matter of preference. Good luck, and post up some pics when you've got her home and in the garage!
Welcome bullfrog. I just went through that process. Frasers have a stranglehold on Ducati and they wont budge much on price - a little, but not a lot. If there were accessories - clothing, helmet etc that you were after, you should be able to get a good deal on that, but don't expect much off the bike price.

If you turn around and say you managed to get $2K off the price, I'm gonna hate you ;-)

Thanks mate! I'll definitely give some thought to the levers. Heaps cheaper then here in aus. Can't wait to put some picks up to share!

Hey liam

Cheers for the advice! I was kind of expecting that. I went to the concord dealer a couple of weeks ago and there were a heap of them with a sold sticker on it. I don't think they are struggling to sell them for the price.
Did you try sydney city at lanecove? I'm hoping to buy off them as it's most convinient for me.
I tried Frasers in Wollongong, I think the reps name was Mick - he seemed pretty good but bought from the local dealer. Didn't try Lane Cove

Cheers! I'll give him a buzz. Bit far for me though as I'm up hornsby way.
Welcome to the forum......
Thanks Steeve!!!!
