The crated bike was delivered to the dealer on Monday, but the dealer doesn't have any mechanics spare to prepare it. You know, I only ordered in February, it's not like they had time to plan or anything.
It's a bank holiday weekend this weekend and instead of riding I'll be sitting around swearing.
Although its pain in the proverbial, I got Bennetts to insure it - half the price of Ducati and can't work out why! You have to talk them through the process and if it still isn't on the system ask to speak to their special underwriting team. Good luck!
Surprised at all the insurance angst across the pond? I picked up my bike yesterday, called my agent, gave him the VIN and was was covered. Rode for 60 miles, checked messages and saw I now had a copy of my updated insurance card.
Called my State Farm agent this morning, gave her the Supersport VIN, and 5 minutes later I was fully covered. 38 bucks per year more than the '15 Hyperstrada. No complaints here...

My SV insurance was $241/year for full coverage, the SS will go up to $657/year, then there's "total loss coverage" for $786, I guess that's kinda like a gap insurance for the bike.
