Sorry, but that looks a bit ugly? I used this door trim behind the glass, a one inch piece each side and works like a charm.

Sure, rubber profile is 30mm x 20mm very soft with double sided tape on the flat side. I cut 2 1 inch pieces and stuck them to the back of the mirror just in from each end then pushed the mirror back onto the backing plate.
And it completely eliminates the shaky mirrors? Any chance you took a photos of what you did?

Does the mirror pop out of the housing that easily?
I rode the bike today finally with the Muth trim installed, I'd say 99% of the mirror vibration is eliminated below 60mpg. I didn't go faster than that.

The mirror is held in on a round plastic disc that has clips around the edge that need to be gently pried apart.
I'd probably break it off my accident! Did you take that picture?
I may try your solution if it eliminates the shaky mirrors. Ever since you told me the Muth looks ugly, now thats all I think about lol; however, it works, and eliminates almost 100% below 60mph.
