Hi everyone!

This is my second Ducati, the first was a Monster 696+ a good bike that never gave me any troubles. Recently I bought this SS-S in white. Awesome bike. Riding position, brakes, light, beautiful...

The only thing Im confused its about the DQS, always ok and fine except getting up from 4th to 5th, sometimes it delays a little and bam! all the power is delivered in a bit abrupt way, not always. And with also two false neutrals, one of them was my fault, with no dude, but not the other one. In the Monster was common between 5th and 6th, but at high revs and kicking the gear strong there was no trouble. The bike is now about 3500 Km.

Its seems like if it has to change more times to get fine up and down. I've been reading about getting the lever lower, maybe ill try.

About the rest of the bike i have installed the passenger wings and the carbon tank cover:

So thank you to the Staff that makes this forum possible.

welcome. i haven't experienced the false neutral bw 5th and 6th- but i have experienced it a couple of times bw 2nd and 3rd. when reading other posts- it seems to usually work itself out. if not- slight adjustment should correct it.

Yes! One of the first things will be easy, changing the rear turn lights for the DP led ones, i can't understand why Ducati is still mounting the classy ones like in '90s.

Im waiting for Termis or other brand, im satisfied with sound, less natural than on Monster, but Euro IV has been a lack in this way for exhaust sound, I think Akra is quite expensive for the gain, I've heard them the same day I pick up the bike, and there is a difference but not enough for 1000€.

So then carbon front mudguard from dp is other must.

I don't know why the photo doesn't appear, if you right click on it opens in dropbox.

I didn't mentioned before but Im really satisfied with Ohlins, really impresive.

Thanks again!

A tip from an old fart, never put your helmet on the floor, ANTS. Been there done that.

Jajaja thanx for the advice.

Well, I have lowered the gear lever and perfect, smooth changes every time from 4th to 5th and 5th to 6th. Manual or QS, perfect.

So thank you again. Even from 2nd to neutral is easier now. Sometimes I get fascinated about how a simple solution could fix that kind of "troubles"
