Just a heads up. Not all 'add on' front fork pre load adjusters for the 950s Ohlins fit. The top of the fork is encroached by the riser. The photo is of Oberon adjusters, they foul the riser by about 1mm meaning they won't turn a full turn. Oberon we're great about the return and apologised - but they can't make something that fits every bike.

The reason I got a pair was to set up the sag properly on my 950s and I didn't want to mark the lovely blue anodised preload adjusters - in the end, after being inspired by watching a jeweller remove watch hands with a plastic bag as protection I did the same with the 17mm socket needed to adjust preload. Bag on adjuster then socket on top. Much less fiddly that trying to use electrical tape! No marks on the adjuster.
