Red supersport s stolen

Yesterday around 4 o'clock my red super sport s was stolen out of my garage with a lock on it. It had to been done with a flatbed truck and carried. I live in an affluent neighborhood so it just goes to show you how people want this motorcycle right now. Keep your bike locked up. I'm so mad as I just done some other stuff to the bike It's going to take me months to get another one. And I have the only red S in my state so those crooks better go real far trying to sell it!

So sorry to hear. They must have followed you home, which is kind of scary too.
Sad to hear, there was at least one other forum member, in Europe as I recall, who had there's stolen too.
Sorry for you dude.

My white S was stollen in front of my work (Paris, FR) the 4th of appril, and I am still waiting the insurance money to get a new one.
Hopefully next week.
I lost 2k€ in the process.

I hope better resolution for you.
Sorry to read bud. Hopefully you can get it back in a good condition.
Oh man that does suck, so sorry you have to go thru that ****.:crying:
Terrible news, Doc. I hope your insurance company has you on a new S sooner than later.
Sorry to hear that PEDSDOC, hope you get your new ride soon

Was it customized in a way that is easily recognizable? I'm asking so that we can all be on the look-out for it!

Also, if you have an Instagram account, I've seen motorcycle magazines sometimes post links to find stolen bikes. Last time this happened the journalist and motorcycle community rallied and the bike was recovered.
That sucks. Sorry to hear, man. Was it a parking garage or they broke into your home? Any cameras?

No neighborhoods are safe from theft in New Orleans. We're surrounded by sh1t neighborhoods with shitty people.

Police found the bike today. Ignition destroyed. Every body panel scratched. Ohlins scratched on both forks. Gas tank destroyed. Seat latch destroyed. Seat destroyed. seat cowl gone. LCD display destroyed, mirrors and front and rear signals damaged/missing. Carbon fiber fender destroyed. Fuse box exposed and tampered. I'll only show you a couple of pics so I won't upset you guys. LOL. But I see way over "totaled" damage if they were to try and repair. But even if they could, I would never ride that again out of fear that something isn't right. Seems unsafe to try to redu ALL that. I'm I being over concerned?!?! Feedback please. I mean the bike is 15k and just the all of the fairing, turn signal mirrors and Ohlins pieced out and labor is prob 9k right? Not to mention and entire new electrical system. The engine doesn't look damaged but how am I to know that? What would you do your insurance company tries to "fix" your bike in this condition? I don't wanna have to sue these folks!!!

Horrendous! Your bike is totaled and your insurance company owes you full replacement value to buy a new one. Good luck, Doc!

What the **** did they do with the thing? Race it? Sorry to see this. That seems totaled to me.
So sad to see...sorry man.
Yeah, agree. It's totaled. Did they try and burn it? I mean, how did the stickers turn up like that? Seems like excessive heat, maybe...??

I know I wouldn't want it back "fixed". Keep us posted, Doc.
