Hey Guys, you might remember from some other posts that the right hook on the portion of my seat that slips under the flange on the tank comes undone with aggressive riding...

Since nothing seemed to be broken or misaligned, I've been trying to think of an elegant solution to keep it from coming undone.

Then suddenly, I noticed something when taking the seat off to strategize...

Left side rubber cushion 4 } 1 is missing!

Not sure how it came off, but it's not there.

Without that left rubber cushion things may be misaligned just enough to cause the right side plastic thingie to come undone under certain circumstances. They have 'em in stock at my dealer and will get another and install it.

Check and see if you've got the pair (one for each side).

Speaking of seats, I came across this on eBay, thought it looked kinda nice. Anybody have any experience with it?

nice find. i like that it has the solo seat look. I'm not to fond of how my bike looks without the cover on, but i leave it off for the Kriega tail bag

Exactly my thinking, I love having the cowl look, but sometimes I want to use my tail bag and don't want to leave it on for fear of the paint getting marred somehow from the bungee cords.
