Thanks. I tried it but its only for EU countries. So I tried an old UK address and it wouldn't allow the post code, then it wouldn't allow the vat number. I'll find a way to get in, but essentially it's for dealers.

I know the VAG group have the same thing and the public can pay for access, it's priced reasonably. I will try to get in at some point and will let you know if I'm successful.

Not much a blagger by nature but I'm in.
Going to revisit it in the week when broadband is better. You pay for time, not per manual. So I need a good signal with good bandwidth... The joys of Africa.
Big thanks for your help. Its bookmarked.

For registration it is necessary to be a workshop with a regular VAT number. Registration for customers is not possible

So I've found out. If a manual exists, which it must in some form, why the hëll won't they make it available to the consumer. I don't mind paying for the thing but Ducati don't give me that option. They used to be available in printed form then more recently on a CD. Now it seems they are on the cloud only with only dealers getting access.

Seems to me that Ducati is not interested in owners doing their own maintenance. Like, the manual states that one should take the bike to a service centre even for things such as removing the _fairings_...
I agree. Seems to be a simple way to protect dealers and get them service tickets. Unfortunately, it's at the expense of the typically loyal customer. I could almost accept that practice, say, for the first couple years of a new bike's introduction, but after that, they should be available to the public.
I've seen the techie looking at this before. I will take ages to merge the webpage to build a manual from it. It can be done but who has the time and money to download/ copy each page. Plus it's not zoom able which means copying the page is even more cumbersome. If someone has the time to do it I'm guessing there's probably 10 people in here that would be willing to pay for the manual afterwards. I doubt who ever does it will make the money back.
I've managed to register an account. I will buy an hours worth at some point to explore and see how cumbersome it is, I suppose the Desmo service is the main part to download.
If anyone can get the pages in any file format. I'd be happy to put them together as a pdf or in a searchable html format and make it generally available.
at least you guys have the option to pay for pages you need. The usa is not an option on the site so im SOL.

Only if you have a business VAT (Value Added Tax) number, which I don't :(
I used 12345678 for vat number. I got through with no issues. The front end is artificial. Just try it it with made up details, except for the email address of course.
We have load shedding here, that's when the power system is shut down town by town throughout the day. Once it's over and electric supply is more constant I'll pay for one hour to see how it works.
Well **** that worked and they dont have a workshop manual for the SuperSport
well as far as i can tell they took my $7 and gave me **** all except access to see a service table and to see the miles last reported to them for my SS. I tried in 2 different browsers and all of the languages and from multiple country IPs and **** all.

A screen shot will have been helpful. I'm guessing you won't be spending another 7€ for a hour then.
No manual, that's just ridiculous.

Yeah i tried every single bike and sub model they had listed and nothing just flat service rates.

Then i tried looking up via vin and nothing but details on warranty of the bike and if it had an active recall and when it did have a recall it had no instructions.

Then i tried all of the above with every language option

Then i tried all of the above with a different (actually supported browser)
Then i tried all of the above with VPN IPs from the UK and Italy .
@Derek make up a vat number, as for the post code they want a numeric code not the alpha numeric that ours are, I made that up as well.
I don't know if @skywurz is having trouble because he's not in Europe. Hopefully someone gets in at some point, I will try when I have time.
