Tank Grips

Couldn't wait for them to come out with them, so I grabbed an extra pair of Tech Spec snake skin tank grips I had and installed them. I created a template for where my knees grip the side of the tank and then took an xacto knife and cut them to shape and applied them. Will come in handy on downhill canyon runs. :)

Probably just as good as what Tech Spec and others will come up with...the tank grips Tech Spec sells for my Multi are so high up, my knees rarely touch any of it.
Hmm, interesting to see. They don't look like the shape of any others I have seen (meaning on any other Ducati). i always figured some panigale pads would fit. Looks like they probably would not.
Since I installed these one of them has had trouble sticking (probably old adhesive). So I ordered these instead. Measurement looks like it should fit the area I need it for. We'll see.

How did these work out for you? I dont like the bump texture on those.
Sweet looking grips don't be surprised if some other 939 riders you meet want the same done to their bike ;)
Did exactly the same thing - I guess I am lucky that my legs fit right into those slots....
