I just received the email, too. I want the free panniers!!!! They should offer those to us for being loyal early adopters. I'm actually a little pissed about it.

I just sent a pissed off note to Ducati NA demanding my panniers. I paid full price with cash months ago. I want my free panniers!!! This really pisses me off!!
free panniers? God [email protected] it, I'm getting ready to purchase some property, so I don't have the available funds to buy this thing now! Oh well, maybe I'll find someone selling it used with the panniers in the future.

Hmm, the dealer I bought mine from said mine was the se7enth :-D Supersport delivered since they went on sale. Given that the population pool is about 600 000, that's not bad. None have been the standard model. Perhaps Ducati got the model mix wrong?
thinking out loud... I'd be fine with the Non S, except I wanted white fairings. I don't give a sh1t about the QS and Ohlins suspension. I could plastidip them pearl white or wrap the bike, which would protect the finish. I could also plastidip the wheels a different color.

Got a call from Raymond with DNA and he explained that this was a promotion for the non-S version and apologized for not being able to give me a discount on bags. Shucks.
Saw this too. They must not be selling as many non-S's
