Today was the big day!!

So I was in Beverly Hills yesterday and went by the Beverly Hills Ducati shop I wanted to see if they had any new super sport accessories before I came home to New Orleans today to pick up mine up. They actually had a white SS on the showroom floor ready for purchase just in case anyone wants to know! So I bought the gold bar ends and the gold oil filler plug all by Ducati to match the Ohlins front suspension. When I flew back in this morning I got to the New Orleans dealership and she was ready to ride. they put on the bar ends and I put in the oil filler plug which matched perfectly( I suggest them) and I was off. the bike is sublime. It has the perfect position the perfect torque the mirrors were a lot better than on the demo still a little bit shaky but they were much better. The heat was much more noticeable in the urban mode but otherwise the bike is great I put about 60 miles on her today and I actually had the dealership take off all of that chain gunk so that I didn't have to worry about that. So my mods right now are the tall smoked screen the front carbon fiber fender and the gold bar ends and oil filler cap. So in the final analysis I recommend this to anybody I'll be getting an exhaust soon and anybody with any questions just feel free to ask

Glad to see someone post pics with that windscreen as i was thinking about getting that installed as well as heated grips whenever i end up getting my white SS.
Not usually a fan of the gold accessories both those bar end definitely look nice!
If that is the smoked adjustable, i am curious as well on if that make much of a difference. Of coarse this also depends on the height of the rider. I'm 6'2" myself...

Hi all,
I have this smoked winshield and i am 1,75m 5,9feet.

It is a bit longer .

Now i used to keep the winshield low , and with high speed i put down my head .

I too like the look of the smoked screen. Would like to know how tall you are and if any buffeting is experienced and where.

Christm13 using this touring screen, where do you feel the most air pressure, against chest, shoulders or head.

In normal position with windshield low , the most air preasure is on my shoulders and a bit on my top helmet, not on my chest ( I am 5,9feet , i am thin 63kg / 139lbs)
If i put down my head i have a relative good protection.
This smoked is a bit higher but too narrow.

I am planning to change clip ons , with a lower position , more extended position and better protection , i have noticed ducabike clip ons. But i am not sure to be able to fit my givi tankbag for short trips and continue to see the road and dashboard.
Eternal problems, having a bike which is able to do everything ; city, trips, speed roads, my partner behing me, ......

I like the sound of those changes which is just about what most of us sitting on the sidelines want. Seen potential 939 guys go for the Adv bikes because of how impractical they think these are

So the taller windscreen was improvement in your opinion? I'm 5'6", so gather I would find the same impressions that you're experiencing

Yes and I rode the demo with the shorter screen and the taller screen made a difference. I'm coming off of a hyperStrada so that's why I'm used to the higher screen. The taller one is actually not just taller it has a different shape so it does make the wind hit you differently.
