Hi,

I often have some problems with the screw loss.

It began with one on the coolant tank protection then one rivet of the number plate. For this, I 've putted a screw but it's forbidden in France. Later the nut was gone.
It followed with one on the front mudguard, one on the exhaust cover... Equally ont the front sprocket protection but I'm not sure because it's possible that I lost it my self in the garage. :grin2:

Did you already notice it?

I have known this with my 900ss, 1000 multistrada and s2r but with the ducati engine air cooled it's not a surprise. :grin2:

I had the mirrors replaced under warranty at the same time the gearbox was rebuilt. I only rode the bike 15 miles home and a screw inside the mirror came out and started rattling around.

I took the decision to rectify myself and gently prise the mirror glass out and re-install the screw.

The quality between bikes seems to be very hit and miss so I am not surprised your bike has fallen apart too.

OK

For the old bikes, it was "normal", but I thought ducati would improve this problem with the new ones.
Twin engine reputation is not always an excuse.
@LowRyter: Excuse my french. :grin2:
