Welsh bike tour on my new Supersport S

I have had many sports bikes over the years, but in recent years I have moved away to naked bikes as they are more comfortable to ride any distance. I still have a 27 year old Honda NC30 and a Yamaha MT10 which is now for sale. I first saw the Supersport at Castle Combe on a Riders of Bridegwater stand. They pursuaded me to take a demo. I rode the bike and within 5 mins had fallen in love again with a sports bike. I think Ducati designed this bike just for me! It really is brilliant in all departments, difficult to fault apart from minor points like the mirrors and gear selection early issues.
So I ordered a Supersport S in that fantastic silk white. Ducati Aylesbury fitted a great set of extras that finish the bike off nicely.
To run it in I took it on a three day tour of the Welsh mountains. Great place to run a bike in and also to ride superb roads and take in amazing scenery. Then on the way back I stopped at Ducati Bristol who completed the 600 mile service albeit nearly 100 miles late. They fixed a few minor snags and now the bike really rides beautifully. Neutral in now easy to find and I get less false neutrals every time I ride. It's getting progressively revved more each 100 miles and now all but run in.
This bike is brilliant, far more fun to ride than my MT10 which feels like a tractor now handling wise.
So glad Ducati built this bike for guys like me. They really got this bike right first time. I absolutely love it.
Here's some shots from my Welsh tour. If you haven't been - just do it!

Great photos and write-up! A friend of mine here in Florida is Welsh. Beautiful countryside there.

Does your bike have the Ducati touring screen? I can't find good photos of it on a bike. If that's the touring, it looks good. How does it perform?

Does the Akrapovic slip-on reveal enough of the engine's sound character to justify the price?
I bet Motorcycle Sport & Leisure would like that write-up and photos.
Love picture 6, why? It has a bin in it. It would seem in many areas a bin is necessary in any bike shots. Don't ask me why.

Great color choice, too.
Fantastic pics! Congrats on your new Supersport and your good fortune to moto tour Wales!
Congrats on the bike AND COLOUR CHOICE. Welcome to the forum and Thanks for sharing some fantastic pics. I too share your enthusiasm for this Ducati model. It has been developed and designed with a lot of thought given to rider comfort and ergonomics and real-world, everyday performance requirements. Looking forward to your input and please keep the excellent pics coming
