The lever mounts are not pinned and it is simple to rotate the levers so they fall under your fingers when they are naturally extended.

The comfort seat is flatter than the standard seat and easier to move around on.

The “bad” (or at least things I’d perhaps change):
*Not sure what I think of the gearing yet. I know all about the 14t front sprocket conversion but need to spend more time on the bike before deciding. But yes, it’s geared tall!
I’d like to move both the brake lever and clutch lever down so that they’re more in alignment with my wrists. Not 100% sure but aren’t they “pinned” into the clip ons and thus kinda fixed in place?
And the seat seems pretty comfy but I never understood manufacturers’ habit of creating a “scoop” that limits movement on a seat. I feel like I’d like to remove some foam near my tailbone and make the seat flatter. Maybe I’m too sport bike biased, but I find it’s just more comfortable to be able to shift weight around to avoid being in the same position for too long.

Anyway- happy day! I actually rode the thing?! Haha
Gearing is a subjective thing and might just take some getting used to. I initially found the bike felt overgeared so I bought the 14T front sprocket and installed it. After a few days I went back because i don’t drone down the highway too much, but I do enough that the 14t just felt busier and not as overall smooth. The few times I find myself too high for first gear and too low for second are far less than the times I’m droning in fifth or sixth wishing my RPMs were a bit lower. I found with the 15t I’ll use fifth gear until I’m at 75mph or more, then shift into sixth above that.

As @theresanothersteve mentioned above, the levers are not pinned and the Ducati comfort seat is much flatter and pretty dang comfy overall.

I'm kinda curious how it'll be when I try the 14t sprocket. If I could re-gear the bike, 1 to 3 would all be shorter than now, 4th stay as it is and 5 and 6 would be a wee bit longer. Maybe 7-8% longer on 6.
But as I mostly drive in the twisties and try to avoid highway / Autobahn, I hope I'll be fine with the 14t one nonetheless. In the twisties I usually kick it into fifth for anything above 40 mph and use sixth only on long straights between two towns.

One more thing: didn’t spend too much time on the highways but my brief experiment with the windscreen gave the impression that the raised position of the stock windscreen was worse re: noise and buffeting. I’m 5’10” and currently have a Scorpion R1 helmet. The quietest spot on the bike seems to be when I’m in a neutral riding position and with my chin slightly raised. Read good reviews about the AGV K6 helmet and will try one on this next weekend.

Strated to give it is pre storge deep clean. Why now? I here you ask.

I dropped the bike whilst wheeling it into my garage in September of last year and only got it back from the repairers the other week. I normally deep clean it before putting it in storage, but didn't get the opportunity with it going away to get repaired, so am doing it now ahead of the riding season.

SC Projects end cans off (brand new as they replaced them) wheel off, hugger and chain guard off and chain cleaned and oiled. New Ilmberger chain guard and extended carbon fibre hugger fitted.

Now....... every time I've had the end cans off in the past I've pushed a rag into the 2 exhaust openings just in case I drop something in them. No need this time I thought. Murphys Law then took over. I dropped the right hand hugger bolt and heard the unmistakable sound of it hitting metal and rattling down the upper exhaust 😠 After about 20 mininutes with a torch and a magnetic claw on a flexible rod feeling around in depths of the exhaust I finally retreived the bolt from about foot inside the exhaust. I kept listening for that tell tale click to indicate that the magnet had got it. Bingo! The exhaust now has a rag well and truly filling both holes 😏

Both side fairings off, as well as the EvoTech radiator and oil guards all ready for a good clean.

Old hugger and new Ilmberger extended one for comparison below.

gees, sound like a typical day in my garage. But usually I still have to go to Ace hardware get some other bolt that I didn't know that I'd lost.

That hugger doesn't look too bad to me. I'd wager some epoxy putty or fiberglass repair could make it functional and little spray. Does it fit the 939 or only the 950?

Not sure what you mean with the comment about epoxy putty and fibreglass repair? Hugger does fit both the 939S and 950S
I bought the Ilmberger extended huger to replace the standard size carbon fibre hugger I have. There's nothing wrong with the standard size carbon fibre one, indeed it and the carbon fibre chain guard and SC Projects end cans (which are brand new) will be up for sale in the coming days.

@Triplesapper please keep us informed on the extended hugger and if that helps keep the crap down in the wet. I know there have been a few that have tried it with mixed results, but I’m always looking for another opinion.

OK, That bolt hole in the front doesn't close, it just slides in? My mistake, you mentioned accident repairs, I just ass-umed that it was broken.

like @Miweber929 , I'd like to see the new one installed and read about your experience with it.

The hugger (and the standard one) is secured by 3 bolts; one on the right, one on the left and one in the middle in front of the rear wheel. The left and right ones are actual holes that the bolts pass through, whereas the middle one can be loosened and the hugger lifted free whilst the bolt remains captive - if the bolt is loosened enough. It was the right hand one directly above the upper exhaust opening when the end cans are removed, that the bolt fell into. The below has saved me twice now - it has a claw, magnet and light

The accident repairs were for other damage, it just gave me the opportunity when the bike was returned to fit the new hugger and chain guard whist I was giving the bike its 'late' deep clean.

I bought the Ilmberger carbon fibre slip on sleeves for the standard exhaust, so the brand new replaced by the repairers SC Projects end cans will be up for sale soon at a bargain price (y) I will post them for sale on here first before I put them on Flea Bay.

Will post up some photos of the extended hugger when I get the opportunity.

I hooked mine up on the charger and installed my new foot pegs.

Also angled the shift lever a bit more downwards.
After she was fully charged, I pulled out the standard engine mapping and sent it off to Deussen Engines for optimization.

Also, I got pretty mad a that idiot who tucked her away for winter. She is dirty AF. Dunno what that jerk was thinking.
One of the first rides this year will probably be to a washing station to give her a good scrubbing

After trying a DIY method that another forum user had used to stabilize saddlebags, I bought a Shad rack. As it was “previously installed” it was on sale. So happy I went this route! Very stable, very burly. And easy to mount/ un-mount, as I prefer to ride without the rack if I’m not using luggage. I’ve heard a few stories of involving improperly fastened luggage, so I’m happy to have a trustworthy solution.
