Looks like you are ploughing ahead with a new cover similar to that on the ducabike website. Looking forward to the final result.

I was thinking about getting the seat on my motard recovered, maybe with some gripper material, like on a dirt bike seat, on the side panels. The motard seat is a little slippery, and with the torque that thing has, more grip would be nice. The ss seat feels more like im down in it, and i think the material is a little grippier also.

Looks awesome though.

So I did a few more fine tuning adjustments. 1st I modified my seat by moving the seat curve 30mm back. As you can see from the photos I chopped 30mm out from behind the seat position and then cut and slid the front section back. Whalaaaa. Now my seated position is better for my ergonomics. I then added a thin layer of gel foam to give that extra comfort. ( have a 1500km ride planes in a few weeks) secondly I shaped and fitted Snake skin tank grip. It really needs it if you are doing any hanging off. Will be testing it out on the weekend. Man I have never had to make so many adjustments to make a bike fit but then again after the adjustments I have never had a bike that is so synced.

Nice work, Rhino.

FAQ-worthy.
@Rhino - man, you do good vinyl work! Is that your business there in AUS, or something?
looking good mate, life would be easier if you were shorter.

Nice rake in pic 4, shame about the white blur in front of it.

Nice to see the great work on that seat again!

I used the same snake skin tank grip on my prior bike. Is it TechSpec?

Deft jab that was.

Yes it's from TechSpec, I had to buy it from the states. It's great as a tank grip and looks quite good. Only problem is it's not sticking at the bottom near the seat. It just doesn't like the shape of the tank in that area. Both sides just don't want to follow the curve of the tank, I will give it a few days then if it still doesn't want to Mold I will cut it back. I went for the best shape rather than the best fit. That's the problem with owning a blade sexy bike.:grin2:

Great job all the way around but didn't the elves let you in on their secret? Bike looks so much better when the stickers are removed
