Having owned both, still love red and white. My 950 is white and I love that it’s different.

Ok, ok, I try to stay neutral, but at risk of my computer exploding… here it goes!
I love White for the SuperSport!!! And here’s why…
The SuperSport is a beautifully unique looking bike, and White just seems right for it to stand apart from other bikes, and yes, to also stand apart even from other Ducatis. The SuperSport is truly in a (great) class by itself.
On the other hand, every other Ducati Sport and Streetfighter bikes, ought only to be Ducati Red, including even the Panigale V2 and, of course, the Streetfighter V2. From my vantage point, a white Panigale V2 doesn’t quite seem right.

Ducatis are Red,
They build white ones too.
Red ones are best,

I still have red cowl and front fender from 939. Wonder if they’ll fit 950? That would be a distinctive look! Redtail!

@Paddlefoot64 Do you mean the seat cowl? Whilst the seat has changed slightly. I think the cowl would still fit.

@Paddlefoot64 You might recall that @tea2jay has done a beautiful touch of white and red combo on his bike.
Ya know, there has been a great deal of dismay, and tomfoolery ribbing, over the white versus red discussion for the several years. I figured it would be enjoyable to begin another conversation, in one string, rather than pieces and pieces everywhere. Here is my legitimate thinking for my decision. Similarly as with any decision throughout everyday life, YMMV.

@sephiroth Welcome to the board - what version and year of the Supersport do you have? And more importantly what colour 😅
You may want to introduce yourself in the new members section and tell us about your biking history etc.
I do have a red one, but beggars can't be choosers. On the standard 950 you can only choose between red, red, red and red.
What would my bike look like, if I was to choose (or if money wasn't an issue, because I'd have it resprayed then)?

Neither. This one has been done by Ducati Unica, the new Ducati custom department, where you can order bespoke bikes.

Yes, but Suzuki's are traditionally blue and Ducati's traditionally red
